Put the canopy up the day before a big storm hit in Southern California and it held through the storm. So far so good. It looks very nice - better than the $80 ones we had purchased previously. It does pool water in two places when it rains - have to dump it out to protect the tent. I bought this canopy for a graduation party. Compared to others, it seemed to have pretty uniformly good reviews. I agree. It is easy to set up - possibly on your own, but even easier with an assistant (my 9 year old daughter loves setting it up with me). I'm not sure I'd leave it set up overnight if rain or winds projected - it doesn't seem intended to be storm-resistant. But it is so easy to set up and take down, it is a great alternative to umbrellas for shade. It stores away nicely. My only negative comment would be the steep shipping price ($36).
